UPGRADE YOUR GOLF MK7 R

GOLF MK7 R

The VW Golf MK7 R is one of four cars to be built on the MQB platform. Alongside the Audi A3, SEAT Leon and Skoda Octavia, the Golf MK7 R is equipped with a Turbocharged 2.0TSI Petrol Engine.

Officially, the Golf MK7 R produces 296 bhp and 380 N•m. However, when we ran our car on the dyno, we saw figures much higher than this.

When it comes to modifying your car, it’s easy to get carried away chasing horsepower. However, to truly get the most out of your modifications you need to keep temperatures under control. That is why we have developed a range of products to do just that!

Our selection of Parts for the GOLF MK7 R

An essential upgrade for any turbocharged car chasing big power is an uprated Intercooler. By using specially designed vanes located in the end tanks, we can evenly distribute charge air across a greater area of the Intercooler core. We call this MVT ‘Multi Vane Technology’. Our engineers also managed to increase the size of the core by 66% whilst retaining the OEM mounting position.

The results speak for themselves, we found intake temperatures had fallen from 58°C to just 24°C. That’s a reduction of 33°C. Future proofing your car against any additional upgrades!

On modified cars, or those driven hard on track, the DSG Gearbox can become problematic as a result of overheating. To combat this, we have developed a High Performance, Twin-Core Auxiliary Radiator to replace the standard, single core unit.

The additional cooling capacity, combined with an aluminum construction to maximise thermal conductivity increases efficiency and allows your car to run harder for longer without worrying about reliability. Install in combination with our Twin-Core Engine Radiator for the ultimate cooling package!
